About Rogue Sparrow Digital
Technology should help local businesses compete.
Rogue Sparrow Digital was established with a clear purpose: to give independent and growing businesses access to the joined-up technology expertise that larger organisations often have in-house.
Powering local business
Joined-up expertise, without the disconnected suppliers.
Large companies can draw upon dedicated teams for websites, digital marketing, IT infrastructure, software, project delivery and ongoing support. Smaller businesses are often expected to coordinate these services across multiple suppliers or manage without them altogether.
By helping strong local businesses modernise, improve their processes and make better use of technology, we help them compete without losing the quality, character and personal accountability that make them valuable to their communities.
That is what we mean by Powering local business.
More than a service provider
One partner, looking at the wider business.
Our work can begin with a website, a network problem, a new application or a business process that is no longer working as well as it should. Whatever the starting point, we look at how the individual parts connect and what the business ultimately needs to achieve.
We work alongside our clients through each stage of improvement. We take the time to understand the problem, identify practical opportunities and deliver solutions that can continue to evolve with the business.
Our aim is not simply to complete a project and move on. We build lasting relationships in which Rogue Sparrow Digital becomes a trusted technology partner: someone who understands the business, remains accountable and can provide practical support as new challenges and opportunities emerge.
Founder
Curiosity, clarity and practical delivery.
Rogue Sparrow Digital was founded by Alexander Wainstok, driven by a genuine passion for technology, process development and the difference both can make to people’s lives and businesses.
For Alexander, technology is most valuable when it solves a real problem. It should remove unnecessary work, make an experience simpler or help a business operate and grow with greater confidence. He enjoys understanding how an organisation works, identifying where things could be better and turning those opportunities into practical improvements that people can genuinely use.
That curiosity has taken him across many areas of technology and design, including engineering, graphic design, web design, application development, technical infrastructure, platform migration and operational change. He has also designed scalable tools and processes that make complex work clearer, more consistent and easier to manage.
Rather than viewing these as separate disciplines, Alexander looks at how they work together. A technical decision can affect employees, customers, daily operations and commercial performance. Understanding those connections is central to Rogue Sparrow Digital’s joined-up approach and helps ensure that every solution supports the wider business, not just the immediate task.
This perspective has been shaped by an early engineering career with Ricoh, several years working for Google and senior programme and transformation roles with Openreach and BT Digital. It combines hands-on technical understanding with more than a decade of experience delivering complex projects and lasting process improvements.
As a PRINCE2 Practitioner and Certified ScrumMaster, Alexander is experienced in Agile, Waterfall and tailored delivery approaches. But methodology is never applied for its own sake. His focus is always on creating clarity, bringing people together and finding the most effective way to get the right things done.
This same curiosity and practical mindset sit at the heart of Rogue Sparrow Digital: using technology thoughtfully, improving the way businesses work and building lasting partnerships around their continued progress.
Technology with ownership
Approachable. Commercially aware. Accountable.
We believe technology partners should be approachable, commercially aware and accountable for the work they deliver.
That means listening before recommending, explaining decisions clearly and building solutions around genuine business needs. We do not sell technology for its own sake.
Whether we are improving a digital presence, strengthening business infrastructure or managing a complex transformation project, the objective remains the same: to help our clients operate more effectively, compete with confidence and build stronger businesses for the future.
