Browns of Harborne / Birmingham

An in-store experience designed to stay current.

Browns needed the refreshed brand to continue inside the shop, with flexible digital content and clearer printed touchpoints for products, sourcing, seasonal ranges and customer actions.

The business

A physical shop where product knowledge and personal service matter.

Customers visit Browns for carefully sourced produce, seasonal ranges and advice from an experienced team. Much of that value lives in conversations at the counter, so the in-store environment needed better ways to surface useful stories and information.

The renewed digital identity also needed to extend beyond the website. Signage, cards and customer prompts had to feel connected to the same recognisable Browns brand.

The challenge

A changing product story needed more than fixed printed signs.

01

Seasonal change

Products, availability and promotional priorities change throughout the year and need content that can change with them.

02

Limited space

A busy retail environment needs information to earn its place without adding visual clutter around the counter.

03

Brand consistency

The refreshed digital identity needed to continue across the physical shop and printed customer materials.

04

Ongoing updates

The team needed a practical way to keep content current without rebuilding the display system for every change.

The solution

A managed display and a family of physical brand touchpoints.

Rogue Sparrow Digital supplied and installed a commercial display, including mounting, cabling, connectivity and remote content management. Initial motion and static content was designed around the shop’s products, sourcing and seasonal messages.

Coordinated signs, review prompts and business cards extended the same visual language through the space. The result works as one in-store communication system rather than a collection of unrelated materials.

Joined-up delivery

From installation and content to the details customers take away.

01

Commercial display

The screen, mounting, cabling and connectivity were installed as a robust in-store system.

02

Branded content

Motion and static assets give products, sourcing and seasonal messages a stronger visual presence.

03

Customer touchpoints

Review prompts, social links and business cards connect in-store interactions with useful next actions.

04

Remote updates

Managed content can evolve with changing products and priorities without repeated on-site intervention.

What changed

A more coherent shop experience with room to evolve.

The digital display gives Browns a flexible channel for seasonal products, provenance, bespoke ranges and practical customer information. Supporting signage and printed materials carry the same identity into smaller moments around the shop.

The physical and digital brand now work together more consistently, while managed content can continue to change as the business does.
